The Design Process: Part 4

Once your Interior Designer has chosen the key pieces for the room in question it is vital to add small adornments which will bring the room to life and will compliment the larger pieces.  I personally have access to some beautiful fabrics - many of which were never in mainstream circulation - and as a result I always like to add a few cushions into the equation.  I am very big on 'unique' pieces so I can often be found on Stoke Newington Church Street in some of its antique/2nd hand shops.  In such places can be found treasures that nobody else will have and that will provide an instant talking point in a room.

For a room to evoke emotion and in order for it to feel alive it needs pieces which make guests wonder 'where did they get that?!'
