The Finishing Touch

One of the most overlooked aspects of Interior Design is the 'finishing touches'.  The reason why it gets overlooked to such a degree is because the general philosophy is to buy all of the final pieces once the project is complete.  The problem is that Interior Design is usually accompanied with building work and by the time the entire process has reached its conclusion the client does not wish to immediately fork out additional money for finishing touches.

The result of this is that the client has a well constructed Design that lacks the final surge that can turn a very nice room into a memorable room: like the small facial expressions of a great actor in a key scene, the details make the difference.  As a result, at Kia Designs, we insist upon including the finishing touches within the initial Design in order that, once the project is completed, our client walks back into the finished article!
